WIP Update

Since hubby has declared that I can NOT order more knitting supplies until such a time as I have finished ONE project, I've decided to post updates of my projects.

First we have Icarus, who will probably be relegated to the "work on it when I get bored with other projects" pile. Because I like it, but there are others I want to work on so much MORE. Icarus is coming along okay, see? In the next pic you can even see Ana's lace stitch markers marking my center stitches.

Next we have Amber's sock. It's being knit in Sweet Georgia's Coal Harbor color. Very pretty blues and purples. I'm going to make a matching pair for Melissa, too. And who knows what I'll do with the rest - perhaps matching gloves or a hat? We'll see! I got this yarn from Sobe while she was de-stashing. I think she still has some stuff for sale, even though I liberated her of 2 skeins of Bearfoot, 3 skeins of Twizzle, this Sweet Georgia, and a hank of Schaefer Anne. I have much sock knitting to do!

And last, but most certainly not least, my Seduction Socks. These are made (as you are probably aware, dear reader) with Artsygal sock yarn in the Wild Berry Knittles color. She still has laceweight available at her shop, by the way... and I know for a fact that in a few weeks she will be working on more sock yarn to fill her shop. It just depends on how long it takes for her supplyer to get her the yarn to be dyed! I love this yarn. It's so soft and the colors are so deep. I managed to get 2 skeins of her latest batch (Ocean Water and Laffy Taffy), but neither are for me. Ah well... Artsygal knows what I'm waiting for.

In any case, these are my *official* WIP's. I'm going to rip out the Magic Stripes sock and re-knit it on larger neeedles. I'm planning on finishing Seduction (I'm actually a couple repeats further down the leg already) today or tomorrow. Because tomorrow I'm going to the the Glorious LYS to pick up my size 4 Addi Lace needles to start the Peacock Feather Shawl with! I have Artsygal laceweight to work with - beautiful Moody Blues color. I figure Zephyr yarn (that's the base yarn) plus Addi lace needles plus Ana lace markers will be knitting heaven. I can't wait to start!
