Knitting updates

I finished one of the rainbow socks, and am into the second.

Here's the side detail:

Beautiful. Stunning. Riot of color. I love them. I'll have the other one finished soon. Yay! AND each sock only takes 1oz of yarn. Exactly. So I'll have enough left to make a second pair of anklets. Woohoo!

I also started my Campanula socks, but will have to post pics of those when I get some taken.

I describe most of what I did in the "Random Update - must read knit-speak" post here. It's a heavily modified version of the Falling Leaves pattern from knitty, but all I kept was the basic lace pattern (which she got from a book) and her version of the short row heel (done with yarn over's). I'll write it all up while I do the second sock, as the first was kinda done on the fly, and then post it for your knitting pleasure!

Oh, all the information is in my Ravelry project, including yarn information. It's only using 1oz of yarn per sock, so I'm gonna have 2oz left when I'm done. Maybe we can work out a trade for it if you'd like a pair (since you really *can't* get this yarn anymore, as it's Artsygal handpainted).
