I hate to say it, but I had to rip out Elfine's Socks. I was going nutzoid knitting it on DPN's, so I ordered a 32" size 1.5 (2.5mm) circular needle from KnitPicks so I could knit it in Magic Loop. Well... that made knitting easier, but I could tell the difference between the dpn knit part and the ml part... and I wasn't thrilled with how the colors were working out anyways... SO I decided to rip it out and start a different sock. I finally settled on Shimmer, and it's working out well!
See! It's purdy. Yay! Mom will be so happy!

Peacock Feathers Shawl
Okay... So I've been naughty. I've been uploading to my flickr sets and have not blogged lately. So here is a quickie...
Here is a WIP piccy. I'll take another one soon. It is the Peacock Feathers Shawl, from Fiddlesticks. It is definitely not a mindless knit. Every flippin' row is different. But wow. It's gorgeous. It is made with Artsygal laceweight yarn. Being knit on Addi Lace size 4's purchased from the wonderful people at City Knitting in Grand Rapids, and being marked with Entrelac stitch markers. It's heaven on needles, I swear. I'm loving it. I'm actually intentionally taking my time with it.
I shall leave it at that, as I have more pics in the WIP set on Flickr. Look at 'em there. For now, I've a house to clean. Will knit for cleaning services... seriously.
