Campanula sock

As promised, here's the new sock I'm working on. This is Mezzodiva's Campanula for the Cure pattern. It's a glorious lace sock, and I'm loving every second of knitting it (and would honestly rather be knitting than posting this, but feel obligated to my blog-readers).

One pattern repeat into the sock:

Campanula again

Now back to knitting it.

Knitting updates

I finished one of the rainbow socks, and am into the second.

Here's the side detail:

And a view of the top:

Beautiful. Stunning. Riot of color. I love them. I'll have the other one finished soon. Yay! AND each sock only takes 1oz of yarn. Exactly. So I'll have enough left to make a second pair of anklets. Woohoo!

I also started my Campanula socks, but will have to post pics of those when I get some taken.

Talking turkey

So the other day Amber comes screaming at me to look outside, and I see this...

Why did the turkey cross the road?

Wild turkeys in the front yard! They skittered off to the pond as soon as they heard us, but it was still pretty cool.
