My best friend went off and joined a commune. I haven't heard from her since. She was my perfect friend and I haven't found anyone else to even come close in years. I have to say I really admire your bravery in posting this. It's incredibly hard for me to tell people the things that really bug me. Some think I'm outgoing and everything but I just don't seem that way to me. And when I think about good friends, I don't have any local ones either.
